RETURNING SOLDIERS.
ARRIVAL OF PAPAROA. COMPLAINTS OFACCOMMODATION Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 7. The transport Paparoa, with 220 men of all ranks, 160 wives, and 53 children arrived at 6.45 a.m. and was berthed at 10 o 'clock, the health of all on board being good. During the trip an outbreak of chicken pox and measles occurred, but there were no serious cases. Complaints were made by the men regarding the accommodation provided for the wives. They also complained that there was no ship's surgeon on board.
