SLY GROG-SELLERS FINED.

Press Association. AUCKLAND, November 4. Sly grog-selling -on the Avondale racecourse at the spring meeting was the subject of charges against three men in the Police Court to-day. The district of Eden, in which the racecourse is situated, is a dry area. It was stated that liquor was sold to racegoers, both men and women. One of the defendants was fined £IOO and the other two £2O each.
