MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
CAMPAIGN ADDRESSES. Addresses will be givcu this evening in St. Mark's Schoolroom and, later, in the Walthain Hall, by Mr J. J. Dougall, candidate for the City Mayoralty, and by the Citizens' Association's candidates for the Sydenham Ward. Dr H. T. J. Thacker, M.P., the Port Christehurch League's nominee for the city mayoralty, will give addresses in the Lawson Street Football Hall and, later, the Waltham School this, evening.' Mr J. MeCoiubs, M.P., Labour candidate for the mayoralty, and the Labour candidates for the Sydenham Ward wfll give addresses in St. Saviour's Schoolroom this evening. Linwood electors will be addressed by Mr B. Carter, independent candidate for that ward, at the comer of Linwood Avenue and Worcester Street, this evening. Mr A. D. HassaH, independent candidate for St. Albans, will address electors this evening at the corner of Minchin's Road and North Parade, Richmond. Messrs D. G. Sullivan, H. P. Herbert, and H. Hunter, Labour candidates for the' Linwood Ward, will give addresses this evening at the corner of Nursery Road apd St. Asaph Street and the corner of Cowlishaw and Patten Streets, Avonside. Lecture demonstrations of ''Port Christehurch" are being given to-day at four of the Christehurch theatres, in the intervals between sessions.
