CANTERBURY COLLEGE DANCE.
PRESENTATION OF HONOUR CAPS. Last night a very interesting ceremony was performed in the Canterbury College Hall, when honour caps were presented to members of the football club, the recipients being Messrs Jackson, Collins, Bell, Clague, Thomas, Kideon, Campbell, Black, Palmer, Penlington, Alison, and Dowd. The last-named, by the way, was absent, so will receive his-on another occasion. The presentation was made by Mrs Blunt, after her husband, Professor Blunt, had made a short speech, welcoming the visitors and touching ou the prowess of the college toys in the football field. Opportunity was taken of the occasion to have a little dance, arrangements for which were made by a committee consisting of Miss G. Wilieox, Miss 1). Thompson, Miss G. Taylor, Mr J. D. Jackson, Mr 8. T. McOalhirn, and Mr B. B. Hardy. Amongst those present were: Professor and Mrs Blunt, Br and 'Mrs Hight, Br Farr, Misses Thompson (2), Wilieox (2), Andrew, Taylor (2), Hnrtle (2), Olive Watkins, Robinson, Totingnr, Grant, Dickson, Hood, Messrs Peaehe, Quane, A'Court.
