ROYAL LIFE-SAVING SOCIETY.
DOMINION EXECUTIVE MEETING. The Dominion Executive of the Royal Life-Saving Society met last evening, Mr S. K. Bassett being in the chair. The Canterbury Head Centre wrote asking whether a candidate who was being examined for an award should be passed if he did not perform the breast stroke correctly, although he might be right in everything else. —It was decided to reply that the breast stroke for awards should be as defined by the N.Z.A.S.A. Arising from a discussion on a remit, from the Canterbury Head Centre, it was decided to circularise all centres explaining the methods laid down for the promotion of warmth. The financial statement; showed assets £129 11/1 and liabilities £64 1/3, leaving a balance of assets over liabilities ot £O-') 9/JO. Accounts amounting to £;i Li/7 were passed for payment.
