BECKENHAM SCHOOL PICNIC.

The annual picnic in connection with the Beckenham School was held in Beckenham Park on Saturday, when there was a large attendance of children and parents. A good programme of sports was carried out under the supervision of Mr Maxwell, headmaster, and a host of willing helpers. During the afternoon Mr McAlister On the absence of Mr W. W. Expenditure: Prizes, refreshments, etc., £8 15/8, leaving a debit balance of £4 19/10. In order to liquidate this amount it was decided to hold a jumble sale early in April, when a canvass of the district will be made.
