The rule making a donor of £SO a life member had been altered, the qualifying sum now being £25. An Executive Committee was elected, comprising Mesdames Bloxam, Clark, Chilton, the president, treasurer, and secretary. Mr Sevicke .Tones wrote, offering to reduce the rent of the nurses' rooms during the war, and this offer was gratefully accepted. It was decided to simplify the nurses' case book-keeping by adopting the system used by the Wellii.gton Branch. A letter was read from the National Union of Women's Suffrage Societies, asking the Plunket Society to thank the school girls who had made baby garments for the children of British soldiers and sailors. They would write again and let the donors know in what way the garments had been distributed. The secretary reported both nurses and tlie office were now on the telephone.
