POLITICAL CRISIS IN CHINA ENDED.

(Received March 12, 9 a.m.) PEKING, March 11. The political crisis has ended, implying that the Chinese will eventually join the Entente Powers. The necessary mandate is • expected shortly. Meanwhile German firms are endeavouring to find neutrals to take over their businesses. The crisis was precipitated by the refusal of the President to endorse Cabinet's decision 1o break oft' negotiations with Germany. Cabinet resigned and most of the Ministers left immediately for Tientsin. The President then relented, and endeavoured to persuade them to return to Peking, promising to do as they wished.
