REQUISITION OF WOOL.
MEETING OF WOOLGBOWEES' COMMITTEE. A meeting of the Woolgrowers' Cornnittee was held this morning, when it ivas reported that the matter of selecting an arbitrator had been satisfactorily lealt wilh by the Hon. the Minister of Agriculture in appointing Mr William Nieholls to that position. The costs of lrbitration in connection with the wool fvill be paid by (lie loser in each appeal, i.e., cither the grower or the Government, ;>i,i! in the case of the grower the ixpense will be a charge pro rata upon the wool which is the subject of appeal. I'lie committee considers that the time for lodging appeals against valuations should be extended from 48 hours to 11 hours, and this suggestion has been wired io the Minister.
