FESTIVAL OF MUSIC.
The festival of New Zealand music will he inaugurated at the Theatre Royal on Monday evening, when several New Zealand compositions will be produeed_ The chorus will number 150, and the orchestra 35. The second performance of the festival will be held at the Theatre Royal on Tuesday evening, when a row programme wall be submitted. The third and final performance will take place at His Majesty’s Theatre on Wednesday evening. A few “souvenir programmes,” autographed by Mies Sara Allgood, of the “Peg o’ My Heart” Company, arc still available on application to Mrs 11. B. Smith, at the Lady Liverpool Depot, Colombo Street.
