SWIMMING.
The annual interbank relay swimming race, contested by teams of four men from the Bank of New Zealand and the National and Commercial Banks was swum at. the Tepid Baths on Wednesday, and resulted in a win for the Bank of Now Zealand (J. R. Cox. R. B. WeeIcy, R. Wilson, anil 1). Appleby). In the final length Duncan (National) had a good lead, but Weeley (Bank of New Zealand) overhauled him, and won in an exciting finish by les ■ than a length. Mr P. Collins was starter.
