REV. R. J. CAMPBELL.
RELIGIOUS CONFESSIONS. By Calle. — Press Association. — Copyright. Australian and t/.Z. Cable Associati in. LONDON, October 3. The Rev. R. J. Campbell's story of his spiritual pilgrimage has been published, and seems to confirm the view of many Nonconformists that Mr Campbell was never a Nonconformist. At least, his book reveals that he always retained, in all essentials, a love for Caiholicism. He confesses that from his Oxford days his spiritual nature was closely associated with the Anglo-Catholic sacramentalism and an imperative need for sacramental life was the real cause of his withdrawal from Nonconformitv.
