PARISH MEETINGS.

_ ST. JAMES'S CHURCH, LOWER RICARTON. The annual meeting of parishioners of St. James's parochial district, Lower 1 Biccarton, was Jiekl in the Guild Room' lou Thursday last. There was a good at-1 tendance, and the vicar, the Rev. G. W. Christian, presided. The vicar referred to the mission which had been so ably conducted byj the diocesan uiissioner, the Rev. C. G.i Mutter, and eulogised the work of the; honorary choirmaster and organist and assisting organist, and the Sunday School teachers. After the formal business, refresh-1 meats were dispensed and musical items: were given by Mesdanies (Jrev, Alexander, and Walker, and Miss Evans. Miss Thompson and Mr If.
