PATRIOTIC FUND.
CASHMERE SCHOOL FAIR. At a meeting of the executive of the above fair, held last evening, offers for several side-shows were received, amongst others being a live Kaiser Bill, the successful shooters winning an iron •cross - as a reward for their skilful throwing. An offer was also received of a portrait sketching stand. The .produce stall will be well stocked with every description of farm, dairy, and ;garden produce. The patriotic flag promises to become a main feature, and it. should excite great enthusiasm as well as keen competition at the auction sale, a number of bids having been already received from those who-will be unable to be present. Altogether it is anticipated that the fair on Saturday week will considerably augment the Patriotic funds.
