DOMINION EXPORTS.
INCREASE IN WAR PERIOD. [From our own Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, August 3. The Dominion's exports during the war period were, according to a Parliamentary return, increased to a remarkable extent compared with the output for a Similar period in 1914. The net increase in the value of total exports for the nine months ended May 31, was £2,353,797. The principal increases were:— Wool: 188,039,2721b, valued at £9,008,331; an increase of £1,598,840. Meat: Frozen beef, 552,304 cwt, valued at £1,117,253; ail increase of £782,995. Mutton—B7o,234 carcases, £1,699,672; increase £289,760. Rabbits and hares—64,B4o *cwt, £58,266; increase £16,004, Lamb showed a decrease of £229,598, the quantity being 605,134 carcases, as against 784,348 for corresponding,period last year, the respective values being £1,511,776 and £1,741,374. Butter shows an increase of £63,245; cheese, a decrease of £165,811; oats, an increase of £183,446; wheat, a decrease of £2396; hides, an increase of £101,821; hops, a decrease of £2781; sheepskins, with the wool,, an increase of £SBBO, and without the wool a decrease of £4765. "
