OBSERVED IN ENGLAND. (Received August 3, 2.10 p.m.) LONDON, August 2. '< Bank holiday (August 1) was ob- < served in the Munitions Areas and on the Welsh coalfields, all the V workers undertaking to resume? tomorrow. The west coast seaside resorts were thronged, and fifty thousand people witnessed the military and naval sports at Stamford bridge in aid of the maimed and blinded soldiers and sailors.
