HUNDREDS WANTED.
RECRUITING IN CHRISTCHURCHL Now is the time when the yoimg fellows who can go to the front but have not volunteered yet should offer their services. Between 700 and 800 men will be required from Canterbury in the next two months, for the infantry in the next draft of reinforcements, and for the extra column of infantry which the Dominion has offered to the Motherland. About 100 mounted infantry will also be needed, but no difficulty in getting these is anticipated, as mounted meat have come forward freely hitherto. The great, need is for infantry, and men will have to come forward much faster than lias been the case lately if Canterbury is to provide its quota.
