Warwickshire made 333 and 69, Middlesex scoring 278 and 27 for one wicket. F. A. Tarrant, for Middlesex, took seven wiekets for runs in the second innings. .
Lancashire, who scored 475, defeated Kent (212 and 130). Huddlestone took seven wickets for 70 runs in the first innings, and four for 37 in the second. Heap took two for 94 in the first innings, and six for 40 in the second; The pair bowled throughout the two innings.
