By Cable. — Press Association. — -Copyright. Received June 11, 8.25 a.m.) LONDON, June 10.
The Archbishops of Canterbury and Yorfc have appealed to the religious citizenship of the country against the alienation of Welsh Church funds for secular purposes. The appeal adds: "If any so-called privilege associated legally with establishment is shown to affect harshly or unjustly anyone, they should do their utmost to co-oper-ate for its removal.'' .
A strong influential committee is at present considering the question of securing a larger measure of independence and self-government for the Church.
