RIFLE SHOOTING
PAEROA MINIATURE CLUB From Our Own Correspondent PAEROA, Today. I The Paeroa Miniature Rifle Club held a very successful handicap competition on the rifle range in the Paeroa Drill Hall on "Wednesday evening, being the first of three shoots for the trophy donated by the Paeroa Hardware Company and Messrs. Tisdall, Ltd., of Auckland. The conditions of this competition are ten shots and one sighter, with fresh handicaps for each night, the limit with the handicap being 100. The member with the best aggregate over any two of these three shoots will take the trophy. Some very good shooting was witnessed, up less than four competitors gaining the* limit mark. The top score off the rifle, 97, was registered by the president, Mr. F. C. Hubbard.
