Said by* Cliief-Betective Hammond to bo at present serving a term of fjix months’ imprisonment. Albert Joseph Vance Ryan, a clerk, aged 35, was charged at the Police Court this morning with the theft of a cheque for £2l 4s 7d drawn by the Public Works Department at Bombay on April 29. Accused was remanded for a week.
