Jackson, Balfour Road, Parnell, and the late William Jackson, to Alex., only son of Mr. and Mrs. David Harvey, Jubilee Avenue, Devonport. * * * Mr. and Mrs. C. Parkes, Whangarei, announce the engagement of their eldest daughter, Dorothy, to the Rev. 33. W. Origg, M.A., of Brahmanbaria, )3ast Bengal, India, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Grigg, Leigh, North Auckland. . MATAMATA NOTES Mr. and Mrs. C. Mclntosh, of West Eyreton, Canterbury, left for the South on Wednesday, after spending a few days with Mrs. E. C. and Mrs. F. Banks. w * * Mrs. Judd, of Hawke’s Bay, is staying with her mother, Mrs. M. M. Scott, liinuera. Miss M. Montague is visiting Auckland. Mrs. Boulcott has returned to Turangamoana from a holiday spent in Ro,torua. Mrs. Perry, of England, and Mrs. Seal,’ of Hamilton, have been the guests of ( Mr. and Mrs. Higgins, Okauia. * * * Mr. J. Carter, of Whangarei, spent last week-end with Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Banks. Mrs. H. Kelso is at present on a visit to her sister, Mrs. Bouleott.
