AUCKLAND V. SOUTH AUCKLAND The annual competition between the Auckland aild South Auckland Bowling Centres for tho Hardley Shield was played today on the Remuera greens. 'This morning the visitors from South Auckland welcomed by Mr. E. E. Daniels, president of the Remuera Club, and Mr. S. Coldicutt, president of the Auckland Bowling Centre. Mr. J. W. Hardley, . donor of the shield, also spoke. Mr. R. N. Pilkington, president of the South Auckland Centre, replied.
