HOSPITAL AUXILIARY
JOLLY BRIDGE PARTY FUNDS BENEFIT On Thursday afternoon the ways and means committee of the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary held a most enjoyable bridge party in John Court's tearoom in aid of the auxiliary funds. A most happy spirit prevailed in marked contrast to the -wintry -weather outside, and a dainty tea was served during the afternoon. The prizes which were awarded for the top score and two sealed numbers were won by Mrs. Prime, Mrs. Coutts and Mrs. Wakeman. Among those present was Mrs. Wettenhall, who acted as hostess. Others present were: —Mesdames Bolitho, rrevithick, Kainger, Barnard, Wakeman. R. R. Smith, Ballantyne, Campbell, Garlick, Gresham, Chatfield, Prime, Coutts, "Wilson Coulter, Sullivan, Tvmgsland, Davis, Dickinson, Pilling, Blaikie, O'Meara, Snedden, Griffiths, Marlin, Balgarnie Dee, Neill, Maguire, Kirk, Allen, Aimer,' Smallfield. Merson, Grant, Henderson, Horspool, Angwin, Woollcott, Taylor, Dickenson, Smallbone, Collins, Hopwood, Bright, Jeffrey, Mclntosh, Nutter, Hvauiason and Sands, and the Misses Nicol. Miller, Farquhar, Fagan, MacDonald. Wallnutt and Trevithick. The president, Airs. Alfred Kidd, was not present owing to a Hospital Board meeting. .
