BIRTHDAY DANCE

Party On Auckland F arm CHARMING DECORATIONS A jolly birthday party was held recently at the Auckland Stud Company’s farm in honour of Mrs. W. H. Patterson, junior. The evening, which was spent in card-playing and dancing, was a great success. The ballroom was charmingly decorated in tones of mauve and green, and many pretty frocks were noticed among the dancers. Mr. Sutich won the card trophy, and Mr. Cronk the competition prize. Mrs. W. Sutherland, ivory french organdie relieved with black; Miss E. Green, flame velvet and lemon shawl; Miss Ha Dewing, royal blue georgette and lace; Miss A. Bragg, pink crepe de chine; Miss H. Sutherland, applegreen satin beaute; Miss Alma Clark, black satin frock; Miss Beryl Clark, cherry and gold shot taffeta; Miss Eve Lewing, lemon beaded georgette with shawl to match. Miss S.
