BRILLIANT GATHERING ATTRACTIVE MUSICAL ITEMS The Click Clack Cabaret looked very gay on Saturday evening, when a large number of dancers attended, a great many visitors from other parts of the Dominion being present. In addition to the excellent dance music supplied by the cabaret orchestra, an enjoyable variation took the form of vocal solos by Mr. Hinton Lskrigge, a prize-winner at the Auckland competitions. These were greatly appreciated. Among those present were: Mrs. M. Morton, who wore a frock of silver lame and black lace. Mrs. J. J. Barry, Sydney, was in a frock of floral georgette. Mrs. S. Beattie chose black georgette With beaded design. Mrs. E. Best was in a frock of flamecoloured satin charmeuse, with uneven hemline. Mrs. M. Tanner chose pink satin with an overdress of blonde lace. Mrs. N. Craddock wore ivory satin with deep hem of silver lace. Mrs. J. Morton had on a smart frock of pink and black beaded georgette. Miss I, Davidson, Te Kuiti, chose eau de nil georgette with side drapings.Miss Redmond was wearing white georgette and diamente. Miss Julia Campbell was frocked in embossed chenille georgette in a deep shade of cherry. Miss Yera Cowie, Dargaville, had on a pretty frock of sea-foam taffeta. A frock of deep crimson crepe de chine was favoured by Miss Lush. Miss Esther Griffiths, Suva, wore a maize crepe de chine frock with uneven hemline. Miss Esphir Lu.ry had on a frock of black taffeta and gold lace. Miss R. Lovell wore tangerine satin with a gold girdle. Miss A. McNeil had chosen ecru lace with a large hip bow of pastel pink taffeta. Miss B. Tancred was in black satin with a diamente buckle. Miss M. Harrison was wearing ivory figured taffeta and lace. Miss Valma Hamilton, Whakatane, chose shell-pink georgette and silver " A delightful frock of jade green charmeuse with diamente girdle was chosen bv Miss Morrison. Miss B. Barry wore cherry satin with an overdress of tulle to match. Miss M. Jaggs was in beaded floral ninon with a girdle of diamente. An ankle-length frock of pink frilled georgette was worn by Miss A. Laery. Miss R. Myers chose buttercup yellow silk and lare. Miss Winifred Cooke bad on a frock of ivory georgette with diamente trimmings. . , _ Miss Madge Allen wore beaded georgette in a pale shade of saxe blue. Miss Alice Bailey was in betty blue satin with hip bow in pastel pink. Miss Lois Mahon chose a frock of blue figured satin and lace, with long uneven E. Bailey wore floral georgette and pale shell pink satin. . . _ . Miss Thompkins was in periwinkle blue favoured a frock of old rose tulle and velvet. _ Mrs. Nairn was wearing a black georgette frock with floral trimming.
