BISHOP AND DEAN
SUPREME COURT CASE MAY BE HEARD NEXT WEEK (From Our Oion Correspondent) HAMILTON, Thursday. The action in which Dean G. R. Barnett is seeking an injunction restraining Bishop Cherrington from setting up a commission to inquire into the dean’s fitness to retain office is likely to come up for hearing at the Supreme Court sessions opening in Hamilton next week. It will be recalled that at the last sessions the judge struck out portion of the statement of claim as being irrelevant. The dean's solicitors have now filed an amended statement, and there is every possibility of the action being heard.
