bona fides of casual BOARDERS “NOT EVEN TOOTHBRUSH” A warning that licensees should make closer inquiries into the bona-fides of casual boarders, and not allow them to book rooms for the purpose of drinking after hours was issued by Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court this morning. Frederick V. Horne, of the Albion •Hotel was charged with keeping open f n d selling liquor alter hours. "Tell your client,” he said to counsel "that he must make some inquiries when a man comes to book a room, and has not even a hairbrush or a ’toothbrush. Mr. Leary: In other words, if he is to bo perfectly safe, lie must see that the man has his toothbrush. A charge against T C. Edwards of being found on licensed premises after hours was also dismissed.
