BIRKENHEAD FUNCTION ATTENDED BY SUCCESS I A very successful social and dance was held by the Aroatea Lodge of the Independent Order of Oddfellows in the Victoria Hall, Birkenhead. lasi evening. BIRTHDAY DANCE 21 ST ANNIVERSARY A most enjoyable party was given in the Friendly Society's Hall, Onehunga, last Saturday evening by Mr. and Mrs. D. Glogoski to celebrate the coming-of-age of their eldest daughter, Florence. The hostess received her guests wearing a frock of black crepe de chino relieved with beige, a panel at one side forming the new uneven hemline. Aliss F. Glogoski’s frock was of leaf green crepe de chine, the skirt falling in soft points of georgette. A butterfly bow of tulle was caught to one side of the frock with a diamante buckle.
