FAREWELL PARTY
MRS. A. CERUTTY ENTERTAINS FRIENDS FLAG BRIDGE PLAYED To receive her guests at a flag bridge party at her home in One Tree Mill on Monday evening in farewell to Mr. and Mrs. A. Bremner. who are leaving Auckland to live in Hamilton, Mrs. A. Cerutty wore an attractive gown of draped rose velvet. Her daughter Marjorie, who assisted her, was wearing a black georgette frock girdled with diamante. Spring flowers, Iceland poppies and daphne made fragrant decoration in the rooms. During the evening prizes were won by Miss Daplire Rainger, Miss Reima Bowles and Mr. Dodd, of Helensville. Those present were: Mrs. Bremner, who wore a, blush pink gown of embossed georgette relieved with gentian blue. Mrs. Surrey Alleman, whose frock of pastel rose lace was worn with a smart little bridge coatee. Miss Daphne Rainger, who had a gold bridge coat over her pink floral tarfeta frock. Miss Reima Bowles, whose georgette frock was of a deep poinsettia red shade. Miss Eileen Adkins, wearing a rhine-stone-studded frock of black georgette. Miss Linda de Renzy, who wore a taffeta gown of apricot tone. Miss Margaret McKelvie, whose frock of tea rose lace was worn with an oriental bridge coat. Miss Cush la Ra inger, whose l'rock of lotus pink lace was made with an uneven hem. Miss Evelyn Ford, wearing a hyacinth blue taffeta frock hemmed with lace. Miss Edna Ballantyne, whose powder blue georgette frock featured a frilled skirt and was relieved with rosebuds. Others present were: Mr. Allan Bremner, Mr. Surrey Alleman. Mr. Ted Dacre, Mr. Paterson, Mr. Dodd (Helensville), Mr. Don Wilson, Mr. Bob Graham, Mr. Sawyers, Mr. Tim Wright. Mr. Wills. Mr. Jack Wright. Mr. Ellerbeck and Mr. Keith Storey.
