AUCKLANDER’S SUCCESS
CAREER OF YOUNG DOCTOR Mr. Donald D. McKenzie, The youngest son of the Rev. J. D. McKenzie, of Gardner Road, Epsom, who, according to cabled advice received by his parents, has qualified as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, London, has had a notable career. Commencing his medical career at the Otago Medical College, Dr. McKenzie graduated first as a Bachelor of Medicine and Ch.B., and later as a Doctor of Medicine. For two years he was a house surgeon in the Auckland Hospital before leaving to study in London two years ago. During most of last year he was engaged at the Derbyshire Infirmary, and at the end of the year returned to the Dominion and married Miss Margaret Harbutt, a daughter of Mr. S. J. Harbutt, of Epsom.
Returning to London accompanied by his wife, Dr. McKenzie is now studying for further experience before returning to New Zealand.
