W. G. LOWE AND SONS’ SHOP DAMAGED The boatbuilding shop or W. G. Lowe and Sons, Ltd., in Beaumont Street. Freeman's Bay, was slightly damaged by fire about one o’clock yesterday morning. The City Fire Brigade prevented any serious damage being done, so that only the roof and rafters in one corner were harmed, and one small flat-bottomed dinghy was slightly burned by blazing timber falling on it. The building was insured for £2,500 and the contents for £I,BOO, both covers being in the London, Liverpool and Ulobe Office.
