LEAGUE RUGBY
SOUTH AUCKLAND Tne annual meeting of the South Auckland Rugby League was held at Taupiri last night, Mr% R. Thomas Hill presiding. The League competitions which will b© opened on May 4, nominations closing on April 26, will consist erf three rounds for the senior and junior players. To meet the convenience of delegates, committee meetings will, in future, be held on the last Monday in each month at Ngaruawahia and Taupiri alternately. The Management Committee will consist of Messrs. R. T. Ilill, W. Perry, A. Harlock and J. Omerod. Permission was granted to the Huntly juniors to play Mount Albert on Saturday next. Election of officers resulted as follow; Patron, Mr. Thomas Main; vice-patron, Mr. W. Dunn; president, Mr. R. T. Hill; auditor, Mr. A. H. Laybourne; secretary and treasurer, Mr. H. York; selectors, Messrs. S. J. Wilson. T. Stephenson and W. Taylor; delegates to New Zealand Council. Messrs. Taylor and McLean; proxy delegate, Mr. C. Edgars; property keeper, Mr. James Ashcroft. Colours for season." red, white and blue.
