CAMBRIDGE FINALS
AUCKLAND FOUR WINS Press Association CAMBRIDGE, To-day. The final rinks in the competition in connection with the Cambridge Bowling Club’s Easter tourney was played this morning in fine weather, with a slight south-westerly wind blowing. The finalists were: Auckland, Aldred, Woolley, Moir and Scantlebury, and Claudelands, Ross, Frazer, Darlington, Coombes, the game resulting in a god win for the former team by 23 points to 11. The game was closely contested, to the 14th head, after which Coombes failed to score. The winners put up a great performance, going through the tournament winning 11 games without a loss. After the game the trophies were presented by Mrs. Lundon to the winners and the runners-up.
