BOWLING TOURNEY AT REMUERA TO-DAY’S RESULTS Six teams remained in the Auckland Bowling Centre’s Easter fours at Remuera, when play resumed at halfpast eight this morning. Millen (Epsom) and Muston (Auckland) had "two lives” each, and Duffin (Carlton), Bailey (Auckland), Keatley (Rocky Nook), and Truscott (Carlton) “one life” each. With both the executive fours and first-year players’ fours finalised yesterday, interest was concentrated on the big open event, and there was a large attendance of spectators throughout the morning, when keen and interesting play was witnessed, particularly in the Keatley v. Truscott game, where a close tussle resulted. To-day’s results are: Fourth Round.—Millen. 22, v. Muston, 16; Bailey, 21, v. Duffin, 14; Keatley, 21, v. Truscott, 16. On the fifth head Millen held a lead of one point, but on the tenth he had considerably improved his position over Muston, the score standing at 17—8. Although Muston improved his position, he was still six down when the twentieth was completed. A close game between Keatley and Truscott saw the score 3—2 in Keatley's favour on the fifth head. From 9 -4 on the tenth, Truscott gradually gained leeway, and on the sixteenth the Carlton man was only one down, H —lo- On the nineteenth he was one up, with the score 15—14, but Keatley retrieved his position, to lead with a margin of five on the last head. At the fifth head the score-board was in Duffln’s favour at 5—4, but from then onward, and at the fifteenth, the score was 19—7 in his favour.
