Barnhill's b c c Blue Bird (1,149yds a minute), second; Mr. A. Gilbert's roc Red Rover (I,l4Byds a minute), third. The Avalon Flying Pigeon Club’s race from Te Awamutu (air-line 86 miles) was won by Messrs. Scott Bros.’ b b p h Popcorn (1.159yds a minute); Mr. J. Wilson’s b b c Blue Sky (1.153yds a minute), second; Messrs. L. and S. Lambie’s r c p h Miss National ,1,135yds a minute), third The Epsom Flying Club’s race from Taumarunui resulted in a win for Mr. R. Hanson’s b c h Lady Success (I,lo6yds a minute); Mr. L. Gilberton’s b c h Tic (1,106.04yds a minute), second; Mr. F. H. Mortensen’s b c h Success Tuan (I,o9lyds a minute), third. The Ponsonby Flying Club flew a race from Ohakune (air-line 182 miles), and it resulted in a win for Messrs. Turner and Walker's gr h Florrie Bingen (1,307yds a minute); Frankham Bros.’ b c c Grand Hope (1,305yds a minute), second; W. Coles’s b c h Grand Trix (1,304yds a minute), third.
