CLAY-BIRD SHOOTING
MEETING AT HAMILTON (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Saturday. There was a large attendance at the Hamilton Gun Club’s shoot held at Ruakura this afternoon. Following were the results: First Shoot, 6 birds—J. Amundsen and E. Okane tied with the possible, and divided the stake. Second Shoot, 6 birds—J. Amundsen and G. Peach tied with the possible, and divided the stake. Third Shoot, Club Championship, 21 birds, from 15yds—C. Seddon won with the possible. W. Woolven and T. Glenn were the runners-up, with 20 birds each, while E. Okane and J. Amundsen shot 19 each. The win of C. Seddon entitled him to the Tisdall Cup and a gold medal. Fourth Shoot, trophy presented by Mr. J. Amundsen, 10 birds.—C. Seddon, J. Amundsen and T. Stephenson tied with the possible. In the shoot-off, C. Seddon was successful, and J. Amundsen filled second place. Fifth Shoot, trophy, 7 birds—P. Jelavich and E. Okane tied with the possible. P. Jelavich won the shoot-off. Sixth Shoot, 6 birds, gimcrack—A. Woolven and. W. Woolven tied with the possible.
