MAORI CHARGED WITH ASSAULT
(From Our Own Correspondent) TE PUKE, Monday. A charge of assaulting and causing bodily harm to John Dole was preferred against Rangi Taniwha in the Police Court before Messrs Cuff and Sweetman, J.P.’s, to-day. Constable Jackson said the principal witness was in the Tauranga Hospital. Accused was '.emanded until September 4. Bail was allowed in the sum of £SO, with one surety of-a like amount.
