CAMPAIGN OPENED
WELLINGTON EAST ELECTORATE (From Our Resident Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Monday. The Wellington East election campaign opened this evening, when Mr. J. J. Clark addressed electors at Kilbirnie. The electorate will have among its candidates two Reform supporters, the sitting member, Mr. T. Forsyth, and Mr. Clark, who is the former chairman of his election committee. Having definitely expressed their intention of going to a poll, both have refused to submit their names to a party ballot.
KAIAPOI SEAT
MR. BEANLAND FOR REFORM Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. Mr. J. W. Beanland, a member of the Christchurch City Council, has consented to nomination as the Reform candidate for the Kaiapoi seat.
