RAILWAYMEN’S WAGES
PROPOSAL FOR REDUCTION (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) LONDON, Thursday. It is reported that their proposals involve a reduction of about £2,000,000 a year in the railwaymen’s earnings. If no agreement is reached the companies will probably press their claim before the National Wages Board, a procedure which many unionists would prefer.
