CALL TO NEW ZEALAND UNION UNDERTAKE INITIAL WORK (United P.A.—By Telegraph — Copyright) (Australian and N.Z. Press Association.) (United Service) Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Tuesday. The High Commissioner for New Zealand, Sir James Parr, presided a a gathering of New Zealand farmers, which, after hearing of a ban on the Empire farmers’ proposed 1929 tour of Australia and New Zealand, passed a resolution suggesting that the New Zealand Farmers’ Union undertake the initial work in connection with it.
