OFF TO HASTINGS
ftEO. STUBBS (Speed King), W. Clifton (Halgana), C. Andrews (Carnui) and J. Herring (Lady Barrington) left by the express last evening for Palmerston North, en route to Hastings, where they will take part in the annual fixture of the Hawke’s Bay Trotting Club on Saturday. The various candidates are in good order. Halgana in particular is very well and will keep the opposition busy.
