COMMUNIST WOUNDED RUMANIANS SHOT By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON, Thursday. The Riga correspondent of “The Times” says an unknown assailant fired two shots at the secretary of the Leningrad section of the Communist Party, seriously injuring him. The assailant escaped. Further executions are announced from Moscow. Three officers of the Red Army were shot for delivering political speeches to soldiers without authority. Eleven alleged Rumanian spies were shot at Odessa. Two peasants were condemned to death at Nijninovgorod for killing a member of the village Soviet.—Times.
