HAUL OF TOBACCO
THEFT AT AVONDALE STORE BROKEN INTO DETWEEN £2O and £3O worth of cigarettes and tobacco were stolen from a store at Avondale last night. I Thieves broke into the grocery store of Mr. J. C. Hook and decamped with ; the above-mentioned goods. Entrance to the premises was gained through the back door. Other goods i had not been touched, the thieves con- • tenting themselves with the smoking | requisites.
