BABY AUSTIN STOLEN
THEFT FROM QUEEN STREET A Gordon Baby Austin sedan, the property of Mrs. Margaret A. Shelmerdine, of 5 Bell Road, Remuera, was taken by joyriders last evening from outside the Unity Hall, Upper Queen Street. The car was left outside the hall at 7.45 o’clock, but when the owner returned at 10.45 o’clock it had disappeared. The Austin bears the number 595. The body of the car is covered with leather, coloured blue, with a black hood, and has the tail-light in the middle of the back.
