LINESMAN INJURED
A rather serious accident befel Mr. S. Moor, an eelctrical linesman cunployed by the Raetihi Borough Council. He was working on a pole at the corner of George and Islington Streets on Saturday, when his weight caused the pole, which had been sunk only about J 8 inches in the ground, to come down. As Mr. Moor fell he jumped about 20 feet. As he reached the ground a ladder fell across him, injuring his legs ;md shoulder, and necessitating medical a ttention.
