CHAMPION FIREMEN
STRATFORD BRIGADESMEN !N COMPETITION, FAST TIMES RECORDED. Fast times were recorded by the leading competitors in the Stratford Municipal Fire Brigade’s annual championship events, which were held last night. For the third year in succession the A championship was annexed by Fireman R. Boyd. The championship competitions have been in vogue only four years and in .that time Fireman Eoyd has won the junior championship once and the senior title three times —an enviable record. The B. championship was won by Fireman J. Davi's after a run off with Fireman H. Keller.
Both events were run with a one inn dry coupling and results are.
A, ;champipr|shfp| —Fireman R. R. Boyd, 55 secs, 1, Superintendent, L. B. Davis- and Fireman D. Butcher, 58 secs, equal 2. B championship.—Firemen J. Davis and H. Keller, 57 secs, equal 1, Messenger W. Davis, 68 secs, 8. In the run-off Davis secured the title with u time of 55 Tssecs.
