THOUSANDS OF VILLAGERS ATTACK POLICE Press Association—Copyright Delhi, April 30. Thousands of armed Jats attacked officials and police who were collecting land revenue in the village of Sikar, in Jaipur. The police fired, killing four and wounding 14. Eleven police were injured. Eighty arrests were made. Raiders led by a notorious outlaw attacked a mail lorry near the Afghan border, resulting in an affray in which four were killed and four injured.
