FOUR HUNDRED SHEEP KILLED

Horses Badly Mutilated DISASTROUS RAILWAY SMASH i TRAFFKHELD UP Press Association.—Copyright. Rescd. Today, 9.50 a.m. Sydney, Today. Both railway lines leading to the •west were blocked late last night, when a goods train was derailed at Warrington, near Penrith. Twelve trucks laden with sheep and cattle were smashed, and over four hundred sheep killed. Fifteen other trucks also left the line. One truck containing a hundred sheep was crushed up like a concertina, and every animal was killed. Several horses were so badly mutilated they had to be shot dead. Channels were cut by the heavy undercarriages and the permanent way was torn up for a considerable distance. The accident was due to a wheel of the leading truck snapping. The service will probably be resumed this morning.
