B. j Maunsell. -presented her annual report j which hnd been mislaid on the occasion of the annual meeting, and j members extended their congratula- | t ; nns oi the comprehensive review of j the year's operations. Two remits ere to h" sent to the central Taranaki executive. It was deI cided to attend a meetinr on Tu'esday j right in connection with the Toko j court at the Stratford Poultry and ! Winter Show. A challenge euchre j partv will be aeainst the Far- ; mors' Union on Thursday. The plain scone competition was won by Mrs. R. G. Grierson. with Miss | Putler second and Mrs. A. Rowe third i Mr. L. Fetch was the junge and Miss j K. Jonoq the steward. Thq competi- | lion next month is to be the best articles made from a sugar bag. The fourth birthday party of the i branch is to be held on June 15. | At the close of the meeting, Mrs. jJ. Peterson gave an interesting dei monstration on rag doll-making, for which she was accorded a hearty vote ! of thanks. i Hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames T. T. Murray, Thompson and Lind.
